To keep order in FWF, rules need to be in place! So here they are. Rules that are new are written in red. Updated rules will be in yellow.

Rules

1: No inappropriate language or conduct.

2: No godmodding (I'm invincible!) or powerplaying (I'm taking over your character to make things go MY way...).

3: Please post in the correct board.

4: Please read all the rules!

5: Your wolf cannot have special powers (yes, this means no steel-burning laser vision). Unless they buy it from the shop.

6: Keep all mating and birthing PG please. We really don't need to know all the details. You can have it up to PG-13 IF you say so in the thread title.

7: Try to make any children believeable. As in, two red wolves cannot have a random purple wolf.

8: Please write in third person (no I or you) and past tense (no "he walks casually").

9: Try to use correct grammar and spelling.

10: Do not ask to be on staff. When we are accepting new staff, we will make an announcement.

11: Liquid time (being in two places at once) is allowed, as long as you keep track of your wolf.

Ranks

Cub-- A young wolf, usually from birth-6 months

Pack member/Loner-- 6 months+ if no higher rank.

Healer-- A wolf with the knowledge of healing powers. Must be trained.

Explorer-- A wolf that goes out into the unknown regions and (fun part) gets to make up what's out there. Status given by leader.

Warrior-- A wolf specially trained in fighting.

Leader-- Leader of the pack

Customs

Training-- To train a wolf to be a Healer or Warrior, you will be assigned a mentor to instruct you. These are the staff's wolves. Once your wolf becomes a full Healer or Warrior, they can train others as well.

Exploring-- A pack Leader can dub a chosen wolf an Explorer, and send them out to explore for x amount of days. As an Explorer, you get to make up what's in the area your leader is asking you to explore. Once your wolf returns from its journey (and it can't always be smooth sailing--we (the staff) will pop in and control the elements to make it harder, depending on how many times your wolf has gone out exploring). The area explored will be added to the area list, and other members can move in and establish packs.

Establishing a Pack-- Your wolf can ask others to establish a pack with him/her. Once you have gotten at least 5 pack members, you can go out to stake a territory. Things you might want to look for: Water sources, prey level, and neighbors. It's a good idea to ask the neighbors first. Loners can establish their own personal territory at any time they wish.

Fighting-- Oh dear. Either you got mad at someone or vice versa, and now you're heading to battle! In battle, you decide whether your attacker's attack makes a mark or not (just remember, no powerplaying). It's up to you if your wolf dies or not.
Example fight sequence:

Player 1: Moondancer lashed out with his paw, hoping to catch Wings of Flame off guard.

Player 2: Wings of Flame saw the paw coming and tried to hop to the side, but he wasn't fast enough. A claw grazed his side and he yelped. Venom in his eyes, he leaped at Moondancer.

Player 1: Moondancer sat back and admired his handiwork. Suddenly, the other wolf leapt at him. Moondancer scrabbled for footing, but Wings of Flame squashed him and started ripping out fur. "Help!" he cried.

Player 3: Azul heard the cry for help and rushed to the aid of Moondancer. Coming up behind Wings of Flame, he charged in a headbutt.

Player 2: Wings of Flame was caught on the tail and went airborn. He unfolded his rusty-colored wings and flapped them haphazardly. He landed perfectly on a log and groomed his injury briefly. "I'll be back," he spat, and ran off into the bushes.

Religion-- It's up to you what your wolf believes in.
